    • Åke Ohberg was born on July 20, 1905 in Västerås, Västmanlands län, Sweden. He was an actor and director, known for Snapphanar (1941), Folket i Simlångsdalen (1947) and Rosen på Tistelön (1945). He died on July 18, 1975.

  • His parents were Johan and Hulda Ohberg.
  • Åke was married to actress Birgit Chenon and then in 1937 he was remarried to actress Peggy (Kerstin) Lindberg until his death in 1975. They had two children, a daughter Ingert and a son Anders.
  • He collected carpets.
  • He first studied at Lorensgergsteatern 1926-1927 then he worked for Skådebanans turnesällskap in 1928-1929. After that he worked for Helsingborgsstadsteater. Then he moved back to Stockholm and first joined Oscarsteatern and then Gösta Ekmans Vasateatern.
