In the wake of her return in last year’s box office hit Saw X, horror icon Shawnee Smith is back in Vertical’s new horror movie Bloodline Killer, which is headed to Tubi this week.

After being released in select theaters and onto VOD outlets back in April, Bloody Disgusting has learned that Bloodline Killer becomes a Tubi Original beginning June 28, 2024.

That means you’ll be able to stream the film for Free on Tubi this weekend.

Directed by Ante Novakovic, Bloodline Killer is being described by Vertical as “a terrifying horror-thriller that follows Moira Cole who endeavors to rebuild her shattered life after the murder of her family at the hands of her deranged and obsessed cousin.”

Bloodline Killer begins on Halloween Eve when Connor sees his father killed by the masked serial killer known as Skulleton. He tries to save him but to no avail, and the only thing that saves him is his mother Moira putting several bullets into the killer. That drops him, but while she isn’t looking, the body vanishes.

At the hospital, Connor and his brother Michael almost get in a fight over Connor not being able to their father. Detective Cypher and his partner Detective Fink find out that someone claiming to be a cop has already interviewed the hospitalized Moira. And we find out that Skulleton is her cousin.

Elsewhere, Samantha, the killer’s sister finds him and drugs him...

Now streaming on VOD and Digital, Sanctioning Evil is a new action-thriller directed by Ante Novakovic and written by Kyle Travis Sharp. The film follows Sergeant Barnes, who was dishonorably discharged from the military following an incident with one of his soldiers. However, Barnes finds himself back in action when a wealthy politician asks for his help with a top-secret operation.

Tobias Truvillion has worked on several films and appeared in shows such as Empire and New Amsterdam. Exclusive: Miki Ishikawa (The Falcon And The Winter Soldier), Sierra McCormick (American Horror Stories) and Nick Sagar (The Princess Switch) have signed on to star in the indie horror-drama, I Don’t Want to Drink Your Blood Anymore, from writer-director Andrew Sullivan (Bokeh).

The film follows Eiko (Ishikawa), a Japanese American teenage vampire, suffering from agoraphobia, caused by the trauma from the night her family was murdered and she was turned. Unable and unwilling to leave her family’s home, she not only loses track of time, but time itself. Eiko spends most of her years avoiding others and trying not to live life as a vampire, but the world won’t leave her alone. Raz Cunningham and Geoffrey Orthwein are producing, with Sullivan serving as executive producer. The production companies involved are Zealous Pictures and LittleFire.

DJ Qualls, Lydia Hearst, Sanchita Malik, and Shane Brady are set to star in Turning Point, an indie thriller written and directed by Josh Wagner.

In the movie, a home invasion goes awry when the owner returns home…bitten by a mysterious creature, and showing signs of an unprecedented illness. As he gradually morphs into something monstrous, the intruders desperately plot their escape.

The film hails from Umbrelic Entertainment and is being produced by Brian Katz and Thomas Zambeck through Umbrelic along with producers DJ Dodd and Alana Brown. Directed by Ante Novakovic, the story centers on Staff Sgt. Barnes (Truvillion), a recently discharged Army veteran who finds his way back into society via a charismatic congressman named Ambrose (McGowan). Barnes and Ambrose walk a fine line between covert military operations on civilian soil and unsanctioned retribution toward an underground criminal element, all while being tracked by FBI special agent Kensington (Manning).

'Sex and the City' star Kristin Davis is returning to TV in 'The Happiness Project.' The single-camera comedy has a script commitment at NBC.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Davis will star and executive produce the series based on Gretchen Rubin's memoir. Rubin started a blog about her year-long journey to find happiness. She employed scientific studies and other tips in her quest.

Kristin Newman of 'Chuck' and 'How I Met Your Mother' fame is in negotiations to write and executive produce.
