John Novak is a Canadian actor who was born in Venezuela, country that his parents were visiting. John began his acting career in the middle of the 1980s. In 1994, he acted in the film Légendes d'automne (1994), alongside Brad Pitt. The success came in 2001, when John played the villain role in the film Wishmaster : Au-delà des portes de l'enfer (2001). This role was an evil djinn; he also acted in Wishmaster 4 (2002). In 2007, Novak acted in the film Rogue - L'ultime affrontement (2007). He also acted in TV series, including Smallville (2001) and Supernatural (2005).
