Biography

He is a Hopi Indian.

Both he and Francis Kee Teller of Navajo (1952) were among Hollywood's first Native American child actors.

Unable to find mature roles, he retired from acting at the age of fifteen. After that, he worked as a U.S. Navy hospital corpsman and, subsequently, for the Indian Health Service.

Worked as an extra for 20th Century Fox, MGM, Columbia and RKO.

Graduated from the University of California Riverside.
