Lupillo Rivera shocked the La Casa de los Famosos All Stars housemates, announcing his exit from the Telemundo reality series.

At the top of the show on Wednesday, April 30, Rivera told his fellow housemates he was leaving the competition due to health concerns.

“For medical reasons, a critical situation, I won’t be able to continue on La Casa de los Famosos All Stars,” a very emotional Rivera said.

Rivera was one of the celebrity housemates who returned for the All Stars seasons of the Telemundo competition series based on the Big Brother format.

“I have had a good time with all of you,” he said, powering through his tears. “I’ve had bad moments and I ask for forgiveness to production. I love this game. I love to win. I love to lose. I love to debate. I will miss it a lot.”

La Casa de los Famosos All-Stars brings back notable participants from its previous seasons, such as Lupillo Rivera, Niurka Marcos, and Alfredo Adame.

The much-talked-about reality competition from Telemundo is in the same vein as Big Brother where contestants will compete inside a house to outlast everyone and win the grand prize of $200,000. 

Viewers will be given the chance to choose who gets evicted every week based on the list of nominees. In the end, only one will remain and get the chance to be named the big winner of La Casa de los Famosos All-Stars.

La Casa de los Famosos All-Stars has unveiled its celebrity cast, who will compete for a cash prize of $200,000.

The Telemundo reality competition, now in its fifth season overall, opens its doors once again to welcome back players from previous seasons for a second chance at winning the game.

Lupillo Rivera, Niurka Marcos, Alfredo Adame, Laura Bozzo, Manelyk González, Nacho Casano, Salvador Zerboni, and Julia Gama are some stars who returned to the competition. To round out the cast, the game also welcomed eight “New Generation” contestants who were thrown into the mix and took the challenge to compete with the legendary players.

Cuban singer/actress Niurka Marcos has ended her one-year marriage, after her husband was caught kissing another woman.

The star wed Yanixan in August 2007, but she announced on Wednesday that she's filing for a legal separation from her second spouse.

Marcos initially jumped to Yanixan's defence when video footage of her husband locking lips with an unidentified female surfaced online, claiming it was being used as a publicity stunt.

But a representative for Marcos has now confirmed to PeopleEnEspanol.com that the couple has parted ways, after the 40-year-old discovered the truth about her husband's infidelity.

Marcos divorced her first husband, Mexican actor Larios, in July 2007.
