On May 4, 1988 he landed his first stand-up gig at Pittsburgh's Funny Bone comedy store.

He was voted "Class Clown" in High School three years in a row.

Frank is of German and Italian heritage. His mother is German and his father is Italian.

Following graduation, Nicotero enrolled at Pittsburgh's Duquesne University, however, his desire to become a comedian outweighed his desire to study and he dropped out of college after one semester to pursue his childhood dream.

Frank is the host of the daily recap show "Prime Time in No Time", which highlights the best moments from last night's TV on Yahoo!. He began this daily show on March of 2008.
