Vincenzo Nicoli was born in Worcester, Worcestershire, on July 27, 1958, to immigrants from Apulia, Italy. He took acting classes for a three year period at the Royal Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, for which he had graduated with an acting degree. He is married to actress Heather Bleasdale, and has a daughter named Ella Nicoli-Horne, whom he had from a previous marriage.
