Born in suburban Los Angeles to an accomplished composer conductor arranger Jazz Violinist father and a Curtis School of Music trained mother, Danny was destined for a career acting primarily in the Background. His first appearance was on the long running NBC Tennessee Ernie Ford Show in the Christmas episode of 1957 featuring canine star Rin-Tin-Tin and his boy Lee Aker. One year later it was again Christmas with Ernie Ford and his Mom as part of the singing and dancing Top Twenty, this time with Lassie and his co-star Jon Provost.
Skip ahead to 1972 working as a future (2022) homeless youth in an overcrowded NYC church in the Sci-fi classic, Soylent Green. It was 1981 when he joined the Screen Extras Guild and finally got serious about Performing almost entirely in the Background along with 4 years as a Casting Director at Central Casting.
