Dusty studied at Carnegie Mellon University, where he received an MFA in Filmmaking. He has worked as a Director, Writer, and Cinematographer creating everything from documentaries, to TV commercials, to feature films. When he was eight his father told him that it didn't matter what kind of baseball mitt he had, it only mattered that he could catch. So, Dusty has been been learning to catch with various cameras and words ever since.

Photographed and edited sixty-minute documentaries for ABC-TV: Johnny Rutherford, Kareem, Terry Bradshaw, Rocky Bleier, and Tom Weiskopf.
