Biography

Durrell Nelson has worked as a director, actor, writer, producer, and stuntman. His credits as director and producer include the feature films An Unlikely Angel and Texas Rein. His credits as a professional SAG actor include Drop Dead Diva, Killing Lincoln, JAG, An American Carol, X-Files, General Hospital, and Melrose Place. Durrell is also an award-winning screenwriter and recipient of the prestigious Jerome Lawrence Award for his stage play Falling Lighty. His screenplay, The Home Game, took first prize at the Maryland Film Festival in 2010. Durrell holds a Master of Professional Writing from the University of Southern California and an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. Durrell is producer and co-owner of Beautiful Feet Productions with his wife, Rebecca Rogers (I).
