It's a big news day for Nyaight of the Living Cat! The upcoming feline invasion anime is just a month away, and a new trailer has just dropped a cat-astrophically huge bundle of details including new cast, opening and ending theme performers and a premiere date. The new trailer and key visual announce the anime will first premiere on the Abema streaming service on July 6, with July 7 being the broadcast premiere — 7/7 being pronounced "nana-na". Crunchyroll will also stream the series as it premieres in Japan . Executive Director Takashi Miike (Lumberjack the Monster, Audition) is unleashing the most adorable armageddon yet in animated post-apocalyptic comedy series Nyaight of the Living Cat. Though the new trailer isn’t kitten around with the meowpocalypse.

The new series will officially begin streaming on Crunchyroll starting on July 6, with new episodes streaming every Sunday in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, Cis, Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Macau.

The official synopsis:

“Run! The adorable cats are here. In 20Xx, the world is dominated by cats. A virus which turns anyone who touches a cat into a cat has spread into a worldwide nyandemic. Cats rub against people, turning them into cats. Can humanity fight their urge to pet cats to survive in this cat-ridden world?”

The series is an adaptation of the manga written by Hawkman and illustrated by Mecha-Roots.

The anime adaptation of Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. is introducing two new characters in this week's episode, dedicated to keeping the girls' high-tech BROOMs up-to-date. Voice actress Hiyori Kono joins the cast as young genius Hana Ginji. Kono has plenty of experience as a magical girl, having appeared as Cure Sparkle in 2020's Healin' Good Precure . Fans may also recognize her as Kirara Mizutani in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime . Veteran voice actor Hiroshi Naka plays Hana's assistant Nishina. Dragon Ball Daima is the latest and final anime in the franchise to be written by creator Akira Toriyama, so hopes are high on all fronts among fans to have a nostalgic experience for the viewers. The official website for Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance , an upcoming 3Dcg anime spin-off series to the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, has announced eight main voice cast members for its Japanese dub. The protagonist Iria Solari is voiced by Nanako Mori , who was recently cast as Cagalli Yula Athha in the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom movie (2024) in place of the character's original cast in the Mobile Suit Gunam Seed TV series, Naomi Shindo. "I am very happy and honored to be able to play the role of Iria Solari in the Japanese dub version, and at the same time, I feel a sense of fate, or perhaps a connection, to be involved in the Gundam project in this way," said Mori. "The story takes place in the One Year War, on the European front. Information on Ms has already been released, and the battle scenes are really numbingly cool. Please enjoy it.

The anime adaptation of Ryōko Kui's Delicious in Dungeon series by the renowned Studio Trigger will be available in multiple languages when it premieres exclusively on Netflix, including an English simuldub release.

Per Anime News Network, the official Delicious in Dungeon social media account on X (formerly Twitter) confirmed the fantasy foodie series will be simuldubbed in multiple languages, including English, Indonesian, Thai, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), French, German, Italian, Arabic and Hindi. Additionally, the series will be subtitled in over 30 different languages, from Arabic to Vietnamese. The move is an interesting one for Netflix, which streams a large number of anime but carries nowhere near as many exclusive releases for the medium.
