  • Daughter of wealthy steel manufacturer S.C. Myers of Newark, New Jersey.
  • A brief article on page 15 of the Seattle Star of Saturday, June 20, 1925, says that Buster Keaton had just discovered Myers, who was to be his leading lady in the then upcoming film Go West.The article claimed that she was still in her teens and until only recently was attending a convent school in San Rafael, California. In fact, Myers was 26 when Keaton chose her as the only female cast member. Her first acting role had been in 1921 and she had several credited roles by 1925.
