A Jurassic Park Fan Edit Reveals What Scientifically Accurate Raptors Would Look Like
Image
Dinosaurs have changed since we were kids. Having a four-year-old son means I've recently delved back into the world of these prehistoric beasts, much to the delight of my inner child and the dismay of my wife. I'm here to tell you that we've been lied to. Not intentionally, of course. But it turns out scientists just didn't have all the facts when '90s kid were busy growing up on "Jurassic Park."

If you happen to be one of those kids, you'll surely be slightly taken aback to find out that T-rex was not, as Steven Spielberg would have had us believe, entirely covered in scales, but at least had some feathers. More specifically, as The New York Times reported in 2019, T-rex are now thought to have had patches of feathers "for display." What's more, all the way back in 2007, a study confirmed for the first time that Velociraptors were also feathered dinosaurs,...

Where The Kids From The Original Jurassic Park Movie Are Now
Image
Your browser does not support the video tag. Jurassic Park actors Richards and Mazzello continued working after movie, but did not achieve same fame as co-stars. Richards transitioned into successful painting career, while Mazzello continued acting, playing real-life figures. Jurassic World: Dominion did not bring back original kids due to large cast, Trevorrow explained decision in detail.

The kids who played Lex and Tim Murphy brought a ton of heart to the original Jurassic Park movie, but where are they now? Adapted from the bestselling Michael Crichton novel of the same name, Jurassic Park revolves around a remote theme park full of cloned dinosaurs who break out of captivity and wreak havoc during a routine scientific inspection. Theres plenty of dino action to behold, but the emotional core of the movie is Dr. Alan Grants journey to becoming a reluctant father figure to John Hammonds grandchildren Lex and Tim, played...

The Jurassic Park Characters, Ranked By Bravery
Image
The Jurassic Park franchise places its characters in some of the most precarious situations. Sometimes the park's collection of dinosaurs can be awe-inspiring, on other occasions they can strike a frightening presence. Following Universal and Limited Run Games' announcement that Jurassic Park's Nes, Snes, and Gameboy games are being re-released for modern consoles, moviegoers are debating which of the series' characters are the bravest.

Jurassic Park's rampaging dinosaurs require the park's employees and visitors to showcase nerves of steel. Some of these individuals have shown more courage and determination in the face of danger than others. Jurassic Park's characters are frequently forced into the most nail-biting situations, where only the strongest can survive.

Jurassic Park Introduced Giganotosaurus Way Before Jurassic World Dominion
Image
Jurassic Park's hulking prehistoric monstrosity, Giganotosaurus, first made its big screen debut in 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion. But thanks to a comic miniseries that acted as a then-sequel to the original trilogy, this oversized lizard was technically introduced years before the films ever had the thought too!

Crashing onto the scene in the finale of the Jurassic World trinity of films, Giganotosaurus was billed as the bigger, meaner, and more deadly version of franchise mainstay, the Tyrannosaurus Rex aka Rexy. Mentioned only in passing in the first Jurassic World as part of the DNA makeup of the brutal dinosaur hybrid known as the Indominus Rex, Giganotosaurus finally came to the silver screen in Jurassic World Dominion and immediately got to hunting down franchise alums Owen Grady and Alan Grant, while going toe-to-toe with Rexy and a new dino threat in the Therizinosaurus, a battle it ultimately didn’t end up winning.
