Rob Murphy(XX)

Rob Murphy is an Australian film maker known largely for directing and editing. In 2022 Rob finished a ten year feature documentary about film survival called, Splice Here: A Projected Odyssey (2022). The film was recently inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences collection and continues to earn considerable and ongoing acclaim world wide. Rob is also known for editing the highly acclaimed feature documentary, Defiant Lives (2017) and directing / editing the equally celebrated, Voyage of the Southern Sun (2017). Over a thirty four year career Rob has cut dramatic feature films, See Jack Run (1991), The Alive Tribe (1997) & The Real Thing (2002) as well as extensive engagements directing and editing corporate, broadcast TV, music video and short film / pilots.
