Biography

Was a student of filmmaker George Kuchar at the San Francisco Art Institute in the late 1970s, where he created a 14 minute homage to Raymond Chandler called Bat City Blues. It became one of the 5 finalists for the 1979 Student Academy Awards.

Founder of The Film Noir Foundation.

His favorite TV series is "The Avengers" (1961). He said of the series, "it had a major impact on my childhood development".
