10 Best Wrestling TV Shows, Ranked
Image
Wrestlemania season is the most wonderful time of the year for wrestling fans, particularly the ones who follow WWE. Spanning from New Year's Eve to around Easter Sunday, World Wrestling Entertainment will culminate their biggest storylines of the year and pay them off on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Though many will look at the Showcase of Immortals as the "season finale" of the long-running wrestling promotion's programming for that year, professional wrestling doesn't have an off-season. In fact, depending on which streaming services you subscribe to, you can find yourself watching in-ring action from a different promotion every single day of the week.

However, what if wrestling fans want to take a break from the squared circle in favor of more traditional shows? Obviously, there is a plethora of shows and genres to choose from, but maybe they don't want to stray too far from the world of "The Man" Becky Lynch,...

Bethany Joy Lenz on Escaping a Cult, Losing All Her ‘One Tree Hill’ Money and Fighting to Keep Her Daughter From That Life
Image
Fifteen months ago, during a recap episode of the “Drama Queens” podcast, guest Michaela McManus asked co-hosts Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush whether they’d ever write a book. Lenz responded that she often writes, and that she would love to tell her story. And then she revealed to listeners something shocking about herself. “I was in a cult for 10 years,” she said. “That would be a really valuable experience to write about — and the 10 years of recovery after that. There’s there’s a lot to tell.”

Four weeks later, she talked about the experience at length for the first time, speaking with Variety over Zoom. As she sat outside her Nashville home, we spoke for 45 minutes about the shame she felt, how her “One Tree Hill” cast tried to help and how she ultimately overcame the fear she had about leaving the group.

Now, 11 months after that interview,...

That '90s Show Just Introduced Its Replacement For A Shocking That '70s Show Character From 23 Years Ago
Image
Warning: Spoilers for That '90s Show season 2!

Caroline became known as "Crazy Caroline" during her relationship with Fez in That '70s Show. Stacy, a new character in That '90s Show, shares similarities with Caroline, creating problems for Jay and Leia's relationship. Stacy's potential return in That '90s Show season 2 part 2 could lead to a twist similar to Caroline's story from That '70s Show.

That '90s Show season 2 introduced a handful of new characters, including one very similar to Fez's ex-girlfriend Caroline in That '70s Show. First introduced in a 2001 episode as part of That '70s Show season 3, Caroline took an interest in Fez before she eventually became his official girlfriend. While the character played by Allison Munn seemed like a great find for Fez, she quickly justified why she was also known as "Crazy Caroline." Interestingly, a member of That '90s Show's character list goes through something similar...

Why Mace Coronel Left The Cast Of Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn
Image
Mace Coronel left Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn on mutual terms, seeking "serious and diverse projects." Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn ended after Mace Coronel's exit, indicating the show's reliance on his character. Post-exit, Coronel's co-stars landed other TV gigs like The Umbrella Academy and A Million Little Things.

Why did Mace Coronel leave the Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn cast? Comedy series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn began airing on household name Nickelodeon back in 2014. The show focuses on the Harper kids — a set of pre-teen quadruplets played by Aidan Gallagher, Casey Simpson, Mace Coronel and Lizzy Greene — who have very different personalities and don’t always see eye to eye. Luckily, the quads’ parents Anne and Tom (played by Allison Munn and Brian Stepanek) are on hand to make sure the sibling rivalry doesn’t reach boiling point.

The Nickelodeon sitcom aired for four seasons and, over that time,...

Mace Coronel, who has played quadruplet Dicky Harper since the sitcom debuted in 2014, has left the Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn TV show on Nickelodeon. Last month, Coronel announced his departure on Instagram (check it out, below). Now, the show's future is reportedly up in the air. ‘One Tree Hill’ Season 9 Episode 8 Review: A Rush of Blood to the Head
This week’s episode of One Tree Hill was magnificent, perhaps the best of the season so far. “A Rush of Blood to the Head” brought many old faces back to town, making Tree Hill more at home than it has been in awhile. There were plenty of tears shed, much to momentarily fear, and still plenty to smile and laugh about. It gets better and this episode was a beautiful look into the journey to that better.

“Have we really had our last conversation? Our last kiss?” – Haley

No time was wasted getting to the part that nobody ever wants to experience. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) going in to identify what was believed to be Nathan’s (James Lafferty) body was one of the most painful scenes to watch since we did not know how the scene would end. Every second seemed to last forever and each second was...

'One Tree Hill's' Allison Munn returns for Season 9... with a bun in the oven!
On the 8th anniversary of The WB series premiere of "One Tree Hill," -- which fans have celebrated all day on Twitter with #OTHday -- we're getting oodles of good Tree Hill news. Earlier today we announced that Brooke's father was cast and that series star Barbara Alyn Woods would be returning for an episode.

Now, Allison Munn, who plays Miss Lauren on the show, has some even better news to share. On- and off-screen pal Sophia Bush snuck a pregnancy announcement onto Twitter this evening. "Best way to end #OTHday ? Me and @AllisonMunn and baby make three. Eeeeeek!! #Love," Sophia tweeted, accompanied by the pic above.

Munn and her husband Scott Holroyd, who "Oth" fans know as Quinn's ex, David, are expecting their first baby. Congratulations are definitely in order, so feel free to tweet Munn at @allisonmunn.

Of course, whenever an actress is pregnant, we have to wonder...

Allison Munn will turn up again as Lauren, Jamie’s onetime teacher who has appeared on and off since 2009, and she’s bringing along an unlikely beau: Quinn’s ex-hubby, David (played by Scott Holroyd). But that’s not the strangest part: We’re hearing that when they head back to town, Lauren will actually be carrying his child!

‘One Tree Hill’ Episode 8.21 Review: Flightless Bird, American Mouth
One word that stands out in the title of this episode is “flightless.” This episode never really took off. The ladies took flight to Puerto Rico for Quinn’s (Shantel VanSanten) photo shoot, but outside of the beautiful views and revelation to Quinn of Brooke’s (Sophia Bush) pregnancy, this story line seemed to lack great depth. It is refreshing to see characters go on vacation without being involved in drama, but there needed to be more heart. Time in Puerto Rico seemed to be spent more on Quinn and her model as well as Lauren (Allison Munn) being drunk than it did plot points as significant as Brooke’s pregnancy. Since when is Lauren great friends with Quinn?

Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) stayed behind in Tree Hill to care after her newborn…and turn the Clothes Over Bros closed store back into Karen’s Cafe. Now this was probably...

[TV] One Tree Hill: Season 7
“I don’t want to be anything other than what I’ve been trying to be lately. All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind.” These are the lyrics to the theme song of One Tree Hill, and I believe that they embody the spirit of the show. One Tree Hill is full of spoiled, self-centered people who do not care how their actions affect anyone besides themselves, and they spend most of their time complaining about how tough and unfair life is to them. They are overgrown middle-schoolers with credit cards. I have no sympathy for these people, and I cannot understand how this show lasted for seven (now going on eight) seasons.

At the beginning of the seventh season, One Tree Hill has lost leading characters Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton), and the season focuses most of its...

After losing her mother to cancer, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) spirals into a deep depression closing herself off to her son Jamie (Jackson Brundage) and her husband Nathan (James Lafferty). Exclusive! Allison Munn Is Returning To ‘One Tree Hill!’
Did you miss Allison while she was away from the Hill?

Allison Munn, who plays school teacher Lauren on One Tree Hill, has been M.I.A. from the CW drama ever since she bade farewell to her on-screen love “Skills” in December 2009 — but HollywoodLife.com can exclusively reveal that she’s back in North Carolina filming scenes for episodes that will air later this year!

“Back in Nc, will go to bed dreaming of Jackson’s Barbeque,” Allison tweeted Jan. 19, and I couldn’t help but wonder if that meant she was going back on the show, which films in Wilmington, N.C. So I tweeted my question to her, and she responded (with incredible speed) in a direct message, saying “Yep – back on the show for a bit… ”

So, what say you One Tree Hill fans — are you excited for Allison’s big return? I have to admit...

‘Overkill’ Slices Crazy With Tom Arnold and Allison Munn
It takes quite an acting performance to outshine Tom Arnold on the koo-koo front, but Overkill, the new comedy web series from 60Frames debuting this week has accomplished just that. You see, it's his daughter Carrie (Allison Munn) who takes the bonkers cake in this one, a pretty young lady with a zesty penchant for serial killers. Allison Munn has been playing crazy so long I'm starting to wonder what's going on there. Yes, I remember her from That '70s Show as Fez's' psycho-possessive girlfriend Caroline. Apparently so do Overkill creators Jeffrey Ventimilia and Joshua Sternin who incidentally produced That 70's Show a few years back. Her scrunchy-faced brand of crazy really got going as Cindy in ABC's short-lived half-hour Carpoolers, and it lends a polish to this otherwise risky storyline. The story picks up at Episode 1: "Dead Man Walking" (above) with a quiet young retail clerk Henry Graham...
