Charlotte Munck was born on December 2, 1969 in Århus, Denmark. She is an actress and writer, known for Meeres Stille (2013), Headhunter (2009) and A War (2015).

Charlotte Munck has an impressive career in the film, TV and theatre world. With her strong and intelligent acting, her talent runs the gamut of roles. She has played everything from a military prosecutor in Tobias Lindholm's 'War' to Blanche Dubois in The Royal National Theatre's 'A Streetcar Named Desire' to Helen Sander in the German psychological drama 'Meeres Stille' by Juliane Fezer. Her TV breakthrough, in Denmark and abroad, came through three seasons of TV2's successful series "Anna Pihl" in which she plays the title role, balancing broad appeal with depth, courage and a will to always put something at stake. Always insisting on diversity, she operates within a wide range of roles, most recently in Von Baden's climate thriller 'Brokenhagen', Theatre Grob's award-winning 'Peter og Elgen' and several other roles on film and TV. She starred in DK1's flagship show 'Follow the Money', and recently came out with her new album "Instructions to God", written and produced by the trio MunckBjornKodal. Charlotte played the main character in Hella Joofs's feature film "Shake It". She starred opposite Mads Mikkelsen and Troels Lyby and was nominated for a Robert and Bodil Award for the best female leading role.
