The World Made Straight (2015)
Just three months after Millennium Entertainment acquired the dramatic thriller The World Made Straight, the studio has released the first trailer.

In a rural Appalachian community haunted by the legacy of a Civil War massacre, young and rebellious Travis Shelton (Jeremy Irvine) finds himself ensnared in the violence of the past and the subtle evils of the present. Based on the novel by Ron Rash, The World Made Straight also stars Noah Wyle, Minka Kelly and Haley Joel Osment.

In addition, we also have a new poster for director David Burris' adaptation, which debuts on iTunes and in theaters on January 9, 2015. Check out the latest footage and the one-sheet below.

'World Made Straight' Starring Minka Kelly Lands at Millennium
The World Made Straight (2015)
Millennium Entertainment announced today that they have acquired all domestic rights for the coming-of-age thriller The World Made Straight, and will release the film theatrically in the U.S. in February 2015.

Jeremy Irvine, Minka Kelly, Noah Wyle, Adelaide Clemens and Haley Joel Osment star in the film. Directed by David Burris, the film is based on the novel by New York Times best-selling author Ron Rash, and scripted by Shane Danielsen. Myriad Pictures is handling world sales on the film.

Based on the acclaimed novel by the same name, The World Made Straight is set in a rural community heavy with a dark past and dangerous present. The film follows a rebellious young man, Travis, (Jeremy Irvine) as he struggles to decide between the dark path he is on and the chance at a new life.
