E. Roger Muir was born on 16 December 1918 in Alberta, Canada. He was a producer and writer, known for The Newlywed Game (1966), The New Howdy Doody Show (1976) and Puppet Playhouse (1947). He was married to Barbara Horn-Muir and Phyllis Stirn. He died on 23 October 2008 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, USA.
