    The French writer Marcel Schwob, who was madly in love for her, wrote: "I am at complete disposal of Marguérite Moréno, who is allowed to do of me everything she wants, also kill me. Paris, September 23, 1895". Then they got married but she was a very unfaithful wife and he died a few years later.
