Annamaria Morelli

Annamaria Morelli is a producer with many years of experience in both the TV and film industries. She started working as a story editor for Rai and continued her career with a long collaboration with Mediaset, producing many successful Italian TV series. As a producer, she worked on several award winning films with Mediatrade and Cattleya, among others. She is best known for having curated the film debuts of Italian directors such as Paolo Sorrentino with One Man Up (Venice Film Festival 2001), Dario Albertini with Manuel and Phaim Bhuyian with Bangla (David di Donatello 2020 for Best New Director and nominated for Best Producer). From 2017 to 2019 she was a board member and head of production and co-production for TimVision. During this time she was Italy's commission editor for the series, Killing Eve and she co-produced, among others: Skam Italia, Dark Polo Gang and My brilliant friend.

She is currently CEO of Elsinore Film, an independent company committed to the development and production of original content, both series and films, with a keen eye for the beauty of female voices and new generations. In 2021, Elsinore Film with Bibi Film produces Anima Bella by Dario Albertini and it inaugurates a production line dedicated to the new Italian cinema with the films Ghost Night by Fulvio Risuleo (Venice Film Festival 2022) and Amanda by Carolina Cavalli (Venice Film Festival 2022 and Toronto International Film Festival 2022, David di Donatello candidate for best new director, best actress and best supporting actress). In 2022 Elsinore Film produces the film True Blue by Filippo Barbagallo (Rome Film Fest 2023).
