  • In 2012, with her Happy Days - Les jours heureux (1974) co-stars Anson Williams, Marion Ross, Don Most, and the widow of Tom Bosley, she sued CBS and Paramount for $10 million, claiming they never received merchandise royalties they were owed under their contracts. The case was settled out of court.
  • Actress Susan Neher was the original Joanie Cunningham in Love and the Happy Days/Love and the Newscasters (1972), which was basically the pilot for Happy Days - Les jours heureux (1974). Moran eventually took the role of Joanie, at the request of Anson Williams, who had worked with her in Lisa, Bright and Dark (1973).
  • Her acting mentor was Tom Bosley.
  • Winner, 2008 Fox Reality Channel Really Award for "Favorite Altered State" for her appearance in Celebrity Fit Club (2005).
  • Resided briefly in Tucker County, WV, in the late 1980s in the home of a relative of her first husband. She was sometimes confused for a local resident "lookalike".
  • Was #71 on VH-1's 100 Greatest Kid Stars (2005).
  • Her house in Palmdale, CA, was foreclosed on in July 2010, and she had to be evicted.
  • Best remembered by the public for her role as Joanie Cunningham on the sitcom Happy Days - Les jours heureux (1974). She was only 13 years old when she landed the role.
  • Erin was cremated; her ashes were given to her widower.
  • She had English, Danish, German, Irish, and Scottish ancestry.
  • She attended the "Hollywood Collectors & Celebrities Show", at Beverly Garland's Holiday Inn, in North Hollywood, California.
  • As of June 2012, she resided in New Salibury, IN.
  • Is the only one of the seven original main cast members of Happy Days - Les jours heureux (1974) to never have any children of her own.
