His last major TV appearance was in 1986 on "Saturday Night's Main Event," when he was scheduled to wrestle the Iron Sheik. That match never took place; instead, Roddy Piper (who had recently turned good) ordered Morales out of the ring and immediately clobbered the Iron Sheik in an impromptu match (which Piper, of course, won).
