  • After Howard Hughes died, she claimed the pair had secretly married on a yacht in international waters off the coast of Mexico in 1949 and never divorced. Despite the fact Moore married two other men while she was still "married" to Hughes, his estate paid her an undisclosed settlement in 1984.
  • At age 81, she would still attend acting classes twice a week.
  • She was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7076 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on February 1, 1994.
