Crackpot scientist and celebrated winemaker Dr. Elson Po has made the ultimate discovery: the secret to everlasting life. As with all good things, however, there s an inevitable downside; and a bunch of good-looking and horny youngsters, invited to Dr Po’s island under the premise of an audition , are about to find out the hard way. When the vineyard starts to give up its dark secrets, these doomed teens will have to contend not only with Dr. Po and his kung-fu fighting henchmen but also with a rotting gang of marauding zombies.

The Vineyard is yet another in the long line of luridly-covered VHS tapes that I rented as a teenager in the early 90s. You see we had a Vcr...

Forbidden Power Trailer Spreads Sexually Transmitted Superpowers
Jake Weary and Maika Monroe in It Follows (2014)
Love Drive-In movies that blow your mind, even in the slightest? Then we have something pretty weird for you. Forbidden Power takes the idea of who and what a superhero can be and turns it on its head for something completely different. It's the sci-fi version of It Follows. And it could gain a strong cult following all it's own.

Films such as Lucy, Limitless, and The Wolfman have featured story lines where the heroes have received transmitted powers via drugs or animal bites, but now comes a fresh take on that idea. Sexually transmitted power in the soon-to-be-released science fiction action thriller Forbidden Power!

Young businessman George (Lincoln Bevers) has a one-night affair with a mysterious Native American woman (played by Nasanin Nuri). When he wakes up the next morning, she's vanished, but leaves him empowered with abilities that far exceed his own, and with a cryptic message. George...

Exclusive: Sales to kick off at Afm.

Sydney and Los Angeles based Odin’s Eye Entertainment has taken on the animated feature Animal Crackers.

The film is co-directed by Tony Bancroft (Mulan) and creator Scott Christian Sava (The Dreamland Chronicles).

Voice cast announcements are expected to be made at Afm, where Odin’s Eye will kick off sales. The film is in production now for delivery in 2016.

The story is about a workaholic dad who inherits a rundown circus. He discovers a magical box of animal crackers that gives him the ability to become any animal from the box.

“It’s incredibly rare to discover a property with such a strong premise, that is equally matched with first class storytelling, creativity and technical talent,” said Oee’s Michael Favelle. “To say we have high expectations for this film is somewhat of an understatement.”

The film is co-written by Dean Lorey (Arrested Development) and Sava. The film’s...
