Liliana M. Molina is a Puerto Rican Award Winning Director. Her first Short film that she Produced, Wrote and Directed "ARRANCA" won Best Drama Short at the LA Film Festival, Best Latin/Hispanic Filmmaker at The Best Shorts Competition, Nominated for Best Short Film and Best Pilot at the Marina del Rey Film Festival and Nominated for Best First Time Filmmaker, and her lead actress got a Best Actress nomination at the LA Independent Woman Film Awards.
Prior to Directing, Liliana started her career in the the Film Industry 30 years ago as a Script Supervisor for Feature Films & Television. Her first big feature was SELENA, which helped her become the first Puerto Rican Script Supervisor to join the Union (IATSE) Local 871 in Los Angeles,CA. This accomplishment gave Molina the opportunity to start working on A-List projects.
She became the personal Script Supervisor for OSCARS Nominated Directors such as Gregory Nava (Selena), the late John Singleton (Boys in the Hood, Snowfall), Lee Daniels (The Butler, The United States vs Billie Holiday), Ava Duvernay (Cherish the Day), Chris Weitz (A Better Life).
Currently she is working on BMF produced by 50 Cent for STARZ.
As a proud Puerto Rican Latina Female in Hollywood, she has broken many barriers these past three decades. Molina is looking forward to breaking new ones as a Director, and in return, helping others on their way up, just the same way she's been blessed along her career.
