The look-alike son of Broadway/Hollywood star Cameron Mitchell, he dedicated his early career to the stage and while attending the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, his mentors included Sir Derek Jacobi and Sir Michael Gambon. He has appeared at major theaters across Canada and co-founded the WriteAct Repertory Theater Company in Los Angeles, where he was a member of the company for five seasons.
