David Miranda Hardy's 10-part political thriller Bala Loca was nominated for a Peabody Award and for 'Best Series' at the Platino Awards. The miniseries has been recommended by Variety, the New York Times, and Rotten Tomatoes. It streamed on Netflix in the US before being bought by Paramount.
David is an Associate Professor at Middlebury College and an alumnus of the Sundance Screenwriting Lab.
Prior to writing and directing, David crafted the sound design for notable films like Lucrecia Martel's The Holy Girl, Lisandro Alonso's Fantasma, and Pablo Larraín's Oscar-nominated film Jackie.
