Sheldon Mirowitz composes music for film and television. He has been nominated three times for an Emmy Award for Best Music, and his scores have been a part of many award-winning films and TV shows, including the Oscar-nominated feature documentary Troublesome Creek, winner of both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at Sundance, and the Peabody Award-winning mini-series Odyssey of Life, among many others.
In addition to composing, he serves on the Faculty at Berklee College of Music, where he is a Professor in the Film Scoring Department. His Berklee Silent Film Orchestra is considered one of the premier silent film music organizations in the world.
