    • Willy Millowitsch was born on January 8, 1909 in Cologne, Germany. He was an actor and director, known for Bonjour les vacances 2 (1985), Das Paradies der flotten Sünder (1968) and Der Etappenhase (1956). He was married to Gerda Feldhoff and Linny Lüttgen. He died on September 20, 1999 in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

  • Internationally known for his single line in National Lampoon's Bonjour les vacances 2 (1985) : "Wer zum Teufel waren die Leute?" (Who the devil were those people?).
  • Very popular actor in his home town Cologne, which erected a monument in his honor during his lifetime and named a square near his theater the Willy-Millowitsch-Platz.
  • Son of Wilhelm Millowitsch Sr. and Käthe Planck, father of Katarina Millowitsch, Peter Millowitsch, Susanne Millowitsch and Mariele Millowitsch, father-in-law of Barbie Millowitsch-Steinhaus, brother of Lucy Millowitsch.
  • Honorary citizen of Cologne (17 November 1988)
  • After taking over the "Volkstheater Millowitsch", where plays in Cologne dialect have been shown, from his father in 1940, he was its director until 1996.
