Enes Midz<caron>iæ was born in 1946 in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated
with a degree in Film and Television Cinematography from the Academy of
Dramatic Art in Zagreb. In 1970 Mr. Midz<caron>iæ commenced his
activities in art photography and since 1976 he has been a professional
Director of cinematography. He started using electronic camera
techniques in 1980. In 1985 he was appointed a full professor at the
Department of Film and Television Cinematography at the Academy of
Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He was the dean of the Academy of Dramatic Art
in Zagreb from 1988 till 1996, and vice chancellor of Zagreb University
from 1991 till 1994. His art photography work was shown at numerous
national exhibitions between 1970 - 1980 and included portrait work as
well as the theatre promotion, advertising photography and newspaper
photography. As Director of Photography he has shot 14 feature and
television films, 2 TV serials, some 60 short feature and
documentaries, as well as around 300 commercials.
