Rudolf Mestdagh is a writer, director, and producer. Born in
Brussels/Belgium. He has more than 30 years of experience in the film industry. He has made 8 shorts, 4 feature films, 1 tv film, 1 tv-series (produced by Guy Ritchie for BBC - Channel 4), 10 documentaries, 50 commercials. His short 'Robokip' was nominated for the Palme d'Or, in competition (official selection) at the Cannes Film festival (1993) and won the Belgian Oscar for Best Short. His 4th feature film 'Looking For A Heart Of Gold' (2022), shot in Colombia, Peru, Brasil, won 3 awards: 1 in Turkey and 2 in India. As a co-producer he made over a handful of features with various countries in Europa, amongst others with Lars Von Trier.
