Nova was born as the oldest sister of three brothers in Ahlen, Germany on December 25th 1973. After finishing High School and University she started her TV career in 1996 with hosting the youth magazine "Was Ihr Wollt" on MDR. In 1997 she started presenting the kids program "Trick 7" on Pro7 and in 1998 Nova took over the most popular Teen-TV-Magazin "Bravo-TV" on RTL2. In 1999 she was Co-Host of "Top of the Pops" on RTL and "Interactive" on VIVA. In 2000 and 2001 she hosted Germany's Cult-Fashion and Lifestylemagazin "Inside" on VIVA and became Germany's most popular It-Girl. In addition she hosted the Saturday night show "Sag ja" on SAT.1. The same year she started to present all the Formula One races from around the world, and all the big world wide events like the Oscars, the Grammys, the Golden Globes and all the Film-Festivals on Premiere. In 2003 Nova hosted the casting show "Fame Academy" on RTL2 and got nominated for the most precious German award Bambi. In 2004 and 2005 she hosted several TV-Shows such as "Dance Music Award" on VIVA or "Feinkost" on RBB. In 2006 Nova is starring in a TV series on ARD and has her own lifestyle column in the show "VIP Lounge" on WDR.

Besides all that Nova works as a journalist and has her own columns at www.bunte.de and www.focus.de. She always continues to work on new projects.
