Marnie was born in Columbus Ohio. She began acting professionally at the age of 15, starring in 6 seasons of the Disney Channel/CBC series The Edison Twins (1982) Known for Dream Scenario, Orphan Black:Echoes, Longing, The Greatest Game Ever Played and The Way Home. She lives in the US and Canada with her daughter and husband, actor Reed Diamond, who she met in 2002 on the set of Scared Silent (2002). They were married in County Clare, Ireland on October 8th 2004
