Paul Shane
Paul was a well established comedian on the club and cabaret circuit when he branched out into acting in 1974 appearing in several BBC 'Plays for Today' directed by Stephen Frears and making his debut in A Day Out. His big break came when he was picked by Jimmy Perry and David Croft to play camp host Ted Bovis in the new sit com Hi-De-Hi. From there he went on to do 4 series of You Rang M'Lord and his film debut in La Passione
