Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI reached the 37th anniversary of its theatrical release on August 1st. Four days earlier, July 28th was the 34th anniversary of the release of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. And the folks at Sadist Art Designs have decided to celebrate both of these films by unveiling new Jason Lives and Jason Takes Manhattan T-shirt designs!

Both shirts are available with or without side seams, and while the Jason Lives shirt is only available in black, the Jason Takes Manhattan shirt comes in a variety of colors. Prices range from $26 to $32, and the options and be viewed (and purchases can be made) on the Sadist Art Designs website. Stay up late with Jason Voorhees, if you dare, for a rare 35mm double-feature of Friday the 13th (1980) and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986) on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the historic Vista Theater in Los Angeles.

The evening will be hosted by La-La Land Records, Creature Features and ShockTillYouDrop.com, in celebration of the premiere soundtrack release of Friday the 13th Parts I-vi, A Limited Edition 6-cd Box Set, featuring composer Harry Manfredini’s acclaimed, never-before-officially-released Friday the 13th scores.

This Friday, January 13th, La La Land Records is releasing their new Friday The 13th score boxed set, and in celebration they are hosting a special screening of the original Friday The 13th, as well as Friday The 13th: Jason Lives, both in 35mm at the Vista Theater in Los Angeles, California. In between films will be Q&A with composer Harry Manfredini, as well as stars Adrienne King, Thom Matthews, David Kagen, Darcy DeMoss, Vinnie Gustaferro, and Nancy McLoughlin. The event begins at 9:30pm.
