    Tall, moustachioed silent screen actor, in films with Vitagraph from 1916. By the 1920's, established as a dapper leading man with all the major studios. At his peak, starring opposite May McAvoy in Misère (1922). His name remained high among the credits, whether as the 'other man', or as scheming villain. He continued after the coming of sound as a small part supporting player, mainly in second feature westerns.
