Graham Norton wants to quit his chat show when he hits 60... and before the cast of Towie appear
Graham Norton has promised that he will quit his BBC One chatshow within the next eight years.

The TV presenter explained at a Times+ event in London that he doesn't want to still be hosting his popular show when the only guests he can attract are the cast of Towie.

"You want to get out when people are still watching your show," said Norton. "You don't want it to be when people say, 'That is still on, that is still a thing?'

"This is the 18th year of me doing a chat show. We've been working up to this moment of being on BBC One on that prime Friday night slot, so we've always been inching forward in those 18 years.

"The thing no one wants is the inching backwards, where you're kind of going, 'Yes the cast of Towie can come on…' That's about retiring when you're on top.

10. Carnal Knowledge

Obnoxious quiz/game show presented by Maria McErlane and Graham Norton (before he unfortunately got famous). The topic...
