Nick was born in Buckinghamshire to an Anglo-Indian mother and a British father, and grew up in Adelaide, Australia. In recent times he was awarded "Cinematographer of the Year" by the ACS, as well as being named by Hollywood's Variety magazine as one of the "10 cinematographers to watch" for Hotel Mumbai. He lives between Europe and the US, and is represented by Tara Kromer at The Gersh Agency in New York City.
