John Mauceri was born on 12 September 1945 in New York City, New York, USA. He is an actor and writer, known for Oklahoma! (2011), Tár (2022) and Evita (1996).
He conducted the orchestra for the 1983 Broadway revival of Rodgers and Hart's "On Your Toes", using the original 1936 orchestrations - a revival which ran longer than the original production.
