  • In 1997, she wrote her own cookbook: Soap Opera Cafe: the Skinny on Food From a Daytime Star. She dedicated it to the person who helped her realize she had a passion for cooking, her father, Paul Mattson.
  • When not performing, she enjoys skiing and ice skating as well as gardening and decorating.
  • From June of 1996 until March of 1997, she had her own cooking show on the Lifetime network called The Main Ingredient.
  • Daytime soap actress for nearly three decades, usually plays scheming blondes.
  • Was only 15 when she performed nude in Bonnie's Kids (1972) and 17 when she was nude in Candy Stripe Nurses (1974).
  • Has originated three of her seven roles in daytime television: Sugar on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2003, Cheri Love on As the World Turns in 2007, and Lee Michaels on Days of Our Lives from 2010-2011.
