Over nine seasons of Suits, viewers saw countless layers to him while he never stopped commanding a room. What viewers probably don't know is that just before Suits, Macht could've similarly catapulted the S.W.A.T. franchise.

In 2003, Columbia Pictures and Original Film adapted the 1970s TV show S.W.A.T. into a blockbuster motion picture starring Colin Farrell and a pre-mcu Samuel L. Jackson. It remains an incredibly underrated movie; it didn't reinvent the wheel, but it was a whole lot of fun and made better by the talents of the cast. So it seemed like a good idea when in 2011, Original Film came back with S.W.A.T.: Firefight, starring Macht as the new team leader.

This Barbie is a birthday girl! On Aug. 14, Halle Berry revealed that her 15-year-old daughter, Nahla, and partner Van Hunt took her to the World of Barbie exhibit in Santa Monica to celebrate her 57th birthday. The singer, 53, took to Instagram on Monday to gush over the woman he loves on her 57th birthday.

“This is the woman i love. Behind the mask she makes me laugh til i hurt,” he captioned a series of photos of the actress’ face covered in intense makeup including a clown-inspired look, pics of her wearing several face masks and filters.

“I see her behind the mask. i always have,” he continued, “happy bday, my love.”

Berry commented on the post, thanking her boyfriend “for always letting me be Me and loving me anyway !”

‘Sulak’ is the first production from Alain Goldman’s Pitchipoï Productions.

Amazon Prime Video France is reteaming with director Melanie Laurent for the feature Sulak and has greenlit five new French feature films and three original series. Laurent directed Amazon’s first French-language original The Mad Women’s Ball in 2021.

Sulak will star newcomer Lucas Bravo as Bruno Sulak, a notorious real-life French criminal known for his non-violent heists on multiple jewelry stores in the 1980s. Sulak managed to escape from prison several times in order to reunite with his lover and accomplice, becoming public enemy number one in the process.

Free streaming platforms like LG Channels seemingly add new channels all the time. There are more than 1,500 free ad-supported TV (Fast) channels available in the United States alone, and the amount of time consumers spent watching these channels increased in April, despite it normally being a period where TV watching decreases across the industry.

One thing Fast platforms don’t normally offer, however, are a lot of is live sports. But users of the free streaming service LG Channels will see that change this month, as the service is adding several live events to the schedule on the NCAA Championships Channel (channel 100), including tennis, lacrosse, and track and field events from both the NCAA’s Division II and Division III.

Halle Berry's boyfriend, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Van Hunt, has wished her a happy 56th birthday. In an Instagram collage of photos and videos of Berry shared on Aug. 14, Hunt wrote, "Hi, baby. It's ur bday, and against ur wishes I am screaming it to the mountaintops, and celebrating with the world the wonderful, loving, funny, and life-giving force you are."

He continued his tribute to his girlfriend by emphasizing the first letters of "Happy Birthday," which happen to be Berry's initials. "(H)appy (B)irthday, boo. I love you with everything I got," he finished.

The pair began dating in 2020, starting out their relationship over the phone due to Covid lockdowns. "I wish I had met him sooner so I could have loved him longer," Berry said in a November 2021 interview with Women's Health. "I just feel fulfilled. “The Killing Fields” and “The Mission” director Roland Joffé is in talks to helm an epic drama spanning the two World Wars in a project set up with international film and media fund Apx Capital Group.

“L’Inverno” is the first pic to emerge from Apx’s new Music World Films & TV venture — a new division headed by Mathew Knowles (Beyoncé’s father), who sold his Music World Entertainment Group to Apx last month. As part of the deal, the film and TV division of Knowles’ company has been merged with the studio.

Apx will complete the financing on “L’Inverno,” with the 12-million budgeted movie starting principal photography in Rome, Italy, this fall. (Apx has a 10-year commitment to move productions to Italy.)

British film-maker Adrian Lyne hit paydirt with a string of erotic thrillers, but Deep Water is his first movie for 20 years. Can stars (and ex-lovers) Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas outsweat Glenn Close and Michael Douglas?

Adrian Lyne is 81 and hasn’t made a film for 20 years. The last one was Unfaithful, a top erotic thriller to add to his sweaty collection. It won an Oscar nomination for Diane Lane, who we saw flushed on a train, recalling her busy afternoon with Olivier Martinez.

So, on the surface, Lyne seems a strange choice to direct Deep Water, based on a book by Patricia Highsmith about a sterile marriage. Vic Van Allen is a small-time press publisher in New England who breeds snails in the garage. His wife, Melinda, takes a string of dim younger lovers. Her trysts are not detailed; instead, Highsmith concentrates on Vic.

Olivier Martinez (Unfaithful) is set for a heavily recurring role opposite Maya Rudolph in Apple’s untitled half-hour comedy series from Emmy winners Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard. Created and written by Yang and Hubbard, the series follows Molly (Rudolph), a woman whose seemingly perfect life is upended after her husband leaves her with nothing but $87 billion. Martinez will play Jean Pierre, a handsome, charismatic, romantic billionaire. Jean-Pierre comes from a philanthropic, old money family in France and wants his family’s charitable foundation to collaborate with Molly. Although he intends to keep it strictly business, there is an undeniable connection between Jean-Pierre and Molly. Mj Rodriguez also stars. Martinez first became known in his native France for his Cesar-nominated performance in IP5: L’ile aux Pachydermes. He went on to star opposite Juliette Binoche in The Horseman on the Roof and in the Oscar-nominated features Before Night Falls and Unfaithful.
