Ray Martin is one of Australia's most enduring and celebrated journalists and television personalities. He has had an extensive and highly decorated career spanning many decades. Ray was one of the founding reporters of the iconic Australian current affairs program "60 Minutes" when it launched on Channel Nine in 1979, alongside George Negus and Ian Leslie. This role cemented his reputation as a serious and insightful journalist. He is one of the most awarded stars in Australian television history, having won the prestigious Gold Logie Award five times (1987, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996), which is the highest individual honour in Australian television. He also has multiple Silver Logies and other industry awards.
