  • Was twice nominated for Broadway's Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) Tony Award: in 1977 for "Side by Side by Sondheim" and in 1979 for "King of Hearts".
  • Hit #104 on the Billboard Singles Charts in 1963 with "In the Summer of His Years" (ABC-Par. 10514), which was taken from the BBC-TV tribute to John F. Kennedy.
  • Probably, most recognized in the U.S.A. for her reoccurring role on the hit television series Frasier (1993) where she portrayed Gertrude Moon the raucous mother of Jane Leeves character Daphne Moon. Seasons 7 and 8(2000 & 2001).
  • In 1971 she released the Swedish-language vinyl single "Om du nånsin skulle ändra dej/Sommardröm" ("If I Thought You'd Ever Change Your Mind / Summer Dream") in Sweden only.
