Although she was often cast as a brassy stripper, showgirl or tough gun moll, off screen she was known to be extremely shy and retiring.

Marion married Jimmy Krzykowski in 1950. He was a Singer sewing machine repairman. They had no children.

Buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California.

Inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, February 8, 1960. Star is at 6915 Hollywood Blvd.
