The famous Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles is located on the corners of Sunset Blvd and Marmont Lane. Marmont Lane was named after Percy.

Marmont died in London at the age of 94 in 1977. His wife outlived him by eight years, dying at the age of 100.

When the British-born Marmont and his wife came to the States, they settled in Whitestone, Long Island.

Father of actresses Patricia Marmont and Pam Marmont. Grandfather of Emma Vansittart.
