Frankie Olita Maloy was born in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona, United States. "Mickey" as she was affectionately called, was the oldest child and daughter of Henry Gardner Maloy and wife Dora Olive Turnbow. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Los Angeles, California. Many of her siblings were born there and that's where they were raised.

"Mickey" was a live model for Cover Girl. She started her modeling career at 15 years of age. She was an actress and Goldwyn Girl and participated in many plays and movies. She acted with the greats including Danny Kaye and others.

She married Ellis Edward Craig in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States. They were the parents of 3 children.

She died in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 87, and was buried in Sunland, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, United States.
