Big Brother winner Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin arrested again, this time for shoplifting
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Big Brother alum Mike “Boogie” Malin has reportedly been arrested again.

This time, Malin was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at a Cvs pharmacy.

The Burbank Police Department stated that Malin was arrested on January 29.

According to a report from TMZ, officers were sent to multiple Cvs Pharmacy locations in the San Fernando Valley after an incident at one location.

A Cvs employee reportedly told the police that he confronted Malin outside one store and told him to pay for items he had allegedly stolen.

TMZ reported that Malin allegedly returned to the store and placed items on the ground before driving away.

The department is said to have then dispatched officers to other Cvs stores, knowing that suspects often try to shoplift at multiple locations of the same store.

Malin’s unoccupied vehicle was then reportedly found running outside another Cvs, where he was accused of stealing alcohol and energy drinks.

Big Brother: Why Mike Boogie Was Found Guilty Of Stalking Will Kirby
Image
Big Brother season 7 winner Mike "Boogie" Malin was found guilty of stalking his former co-star and housemate Dr. Will Kirby, and was subsequently sentenced to a probation period of two years. Boogie and Will first met on Big Brother season 2, forming the iconic Chilltown alliance that took them far on the series. Theirs was the first-ever true alliance in Big Brother history. Ultimately, Will won Big Brother season 2 and took home the $500,000 grand prize, following one of the most tumultuous seasons ever. As fans watch Big Brother season 26, it's time to revisit this shocking case.

Boogie initially pleaded not guilty to the stalking charges he faced. Then, in November 2020, Boogie was arrested on DUI charges in Las Vegas, which added to his existing legal woes. In April 2021, Boogie appeared in court due to Will's stalking allegations. Boogie was sentenced to a two-year probation period. He was forced to spend three...

Big Brother’s Frankie Grande Fears He’d Be Too Big A Target On All-Stars
Image
Big Brother 16 star Frankie Grande would love to play the game again, but he fears that he would be too big of a target in an All-Stars season. Frankie placed 5th on Big Brother 16. He holds the record for the most Head of Household (Hoh) wins in a single season at five, although he was dethroned for two of them. He also won three vetoes. If his Battle of the Block win is counted, Frankie has nine single season wins, tying Janelle Pierzina and Michael Bruner for the most ever. Frankie was only nominated twice while he was in the house.

On EW's Quick Drag podcast, Frankie revealed that he is absolutely "not done with Big Brother." However, with rumors of the upcoming Big Brother 25 being either an All-Stars season or having some returning players, he admitted that he is hesitant to return out of fear of being an immediate target.

Big Brother: Top 10 Season Premieres, Ranked By Their IMDb Score
Image
Big Brother always tries to shake things up in their season premieres, but some connect with fans more than others, as evidenced by their IMDb rankings. Every season premiere has a similar structure where they tease what lies ahead in the upcoming months but also have some sort of exciting event, like a competition or an early eviction. These first episodes are so important because they introduce the cast members as well as new and exciting twists for that season.

With these episodes being the viewer's first taste of the season, such as Big Brother season 24, the premieres are arguably just as important as their season finales, which have their own IMDb rankings, since they need to hook the audience to keep watching. Most of the highest-rated premieres are from when the show was still in its original era, as there are only a few that aired in recent years that were well-received.

Hollywood Lawyer Marty Singer Wins $323K After Beating Extortion Claim
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered Big Brother contestant and VH1 Famous Food host Mike Malin to fork over $323,689 after losing a claim that attorney Marty Singer had extorted him. The case made waves in the Hollywood legal community and beyond when it went up to a California appeals court last year. Malin had a restaurant business enterprise with Shereen Arazm, a judge on Top Chef Canada. Allegedly, money went missing, and Singer warned Malin via letter that a lawsuit would be filed if the money wasn't returned. He specifically wrote, "I have deliberately left blank spaces

Representing such clients as Charlie Sheen, John Travolta and Scarlett Johansson, attorney Marty Singer has become famous for sending menacing legal threats. But Thursday, a California appeals court will consider whether Singer crossed the line with one demand letter sent two years ago, later determined by a judge to be an "extortion" attempt. Singer sent the letter July 25, 2011, on behalf of Top Chef Canada judge Shereene Arazm to Big Brother contestant and VH1 Famous Food host Mike Malin. ‘Big Brother 14′ Premiere: Which House Guest Was Evicted First?
It was a night of teaming, scheming & one surprise elimination! Do you think the right house guest got the boot? Twelve hopeful house guests piled into their new home on the July 12 premiere of Big Brother 14, and while they were probably expecting a few surprises, none of them could have predicted the doozy of a twist coming their way. Along with the 12 newbies, four former cast members moved in — Dan Gheesling (Bb 10), Britney Haynes (Bb 12), Mike Malin (Bb 2) and Janelle Pierzina (Bb 6) — to coach contestants for a chance to win an additional $100,000. And that wasn't the only twist! The house guests were also informed that, unlike in prior seasons, someone would be evicted on the first night. Coach Dan's team was the last to complete the first Head of Household competition, putting his entire crew — Danielle Murphree, Jodi Rollins and Kara Monaco — in danger. And yes, it was up to...

'Famous Food' Season Finale Ends With a Twist (Video)
Famous Food (2011)
Filed under: Summer TV, Finales, TV Replay

Reality shows love their dramatic twists, and never is it more dramatic then to throw one at the contestants in the final episode, which is exactly what happened on 'Famous Food' (Wed., 8Pm Et on VH1). But on the way to that moment, we learned that Vinny doesn't take constructive criticism well.

He stormed off before the announcement of the winner. His ego got so out of control, he started telling judges Mike Malin and Lonnie Moore of the Dolce Group about how he's a movie star and they should have some respect.

Who knew that being a big-time movie star with a Screen Actor's Guild statue in your house means you know everything about the restaurant business?

'Famous Food' Cast Photo: Yep, This is Real
Famous Food (2011)

We've been chronicling the creation of VH1's 'Famous Food' as any self-respecting rubber-necker might do, and the latest tidbit from the trainwreck-in-the-making, an official cast photo, won't disappoint.

In what many (we) are calling a reality show apocalypse, Danielle Staub, Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka are teaming to open a restaurant. The cast also includes Ashley Dupre (call girl to New York's former governor Eliot Spitzer, but VH1 lists her as a "singer"), Oscar-winners DJ Paul and Juicy J from the Three 6 Mafia and 'Sopranos' veteran Vincent Pastore.

The cast will have to complete tasks to get the restaurant (titled Famous Food) off the ground. Restauranteurs Mike Malin and Lonnie Moore of the Dolce Group will award one lucky "celeb" with a partnership stake in the new restaurant.

The show premieres Sun., July 10 at 10Pm and you bet your bottom we'll be watching this gem.
