Biography

She was raised in Lagos, Nigeria, and spent her adolescence in London, Rome, New York City and Washington, DC.

Graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts (double major in Classics and Philosophy. During her visit to her alma mater, the school had a viewing of her film L'incroyable histoire vraie de deux filles amoureuses (1995).

MFA in filmmaking from NYU Graduate School.
