    • Fiona Mackenzie is a former television journalist and Hollywood studio executive with extensive experience in the development, writing, casting, financing and production of studio and independent films, and series television.

She founded Ascent Media Group (AMG), an IP development company, to produce high quality entertainment with an international perspective. Launched in 2018, AMG now has a robust slate of features and scripted series in development with producers, production companies and financiers. She has spoken on panels, and has also been a guest at many major film and TV markets, including the Dubai Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, AFM, MIP TV, Real Screen and others.

Prior to launching AMG, Fiona held senior level creative and executive positions at Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox, developing projects from 8M to 100M USD. At Sony Fiona was the Vice President of Features and Television at Turman Morrison (American History X, Oscar Nominee) and then held an in-house producing deal with Davis Entertainment at 20th Century Fox.

She is the original producer of "Warrior Queen", set up at Paramount Pictures, and in partnership with Robert De Niro's Tribeca Films, and she also worked on the first season of the hit series, "The Highlander" in Paris, for Gaumont/Lionsgate.

In Paris, she started her first production company, producing and writing for CNN, Canal Plus and ABC. Before starting a career in journalism, Fiona earned her BA from U.C. Berkeley, and then her Masters from Georgetown University's Graduate School of Foreign Service in Washington D.C. Fiona is a dual US/ UK citizen and lives between Los Angeles and London.
